## About
Enter your printer's maximum nozzle and bed temperature, whether it has an enclosure, a hardened nozzle and a direct-drive extruder, and what you want to make. The finder lists the materials your printer can handle, flags those that need extra equipment, and ranks them for your use. Temperatures shown are typical ranges; always follow the settings on the spool.

## How to use

## FAQ
**Which filament is best for beginners?** PLA. It prints at low temperatures, rarely warps and works on most printers without an enclosure. PETG is a good next step.

**Why do some filaments need a hardened nozzle?** Carbon-fibre and glow-in-the-dark filaments contain abrasive particles that wear soft brass nozzles quickly. A hardened steel or ruby-tipped nozzle lasts much longer.

**Is the 3D Printer Filament Finder free?** Yes, with no sign-up or limits.
