Open your statement PDF, select all text, copy it and paste it here. The converter finds each transaction line, works out whether it is money in or out (using balance changes when your statement shows a balance), and produces a CSV you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, plus totals. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded. It reads text, so scanned image PDFs will not work, and you should always check the result against the original.

## FAQ
**Does it read PDF files directly?** No. Open the PDF, select all the text, copy it and paste it into the box. This keeps everything on your device and works with any bank. Scanned or image-only PDFs have no copyable text.

**How does it know what is money in and out?** If your statement shows a running balance, the change in balance decides it. Otherwise it uses minus signs, brackets and CR or DR markers, and falls back to the choice you make for unsigned amounts.

**Is my statement uploaded?** No. The text is processed in your browser and is never sent to ToolStack Hub.
