## About
Analytics tools often hide bot traffic, but your server log shows everything. Upload an Apache or Nginx access log (combined format) and the report classifies each request by its user agent into search crawlers, AI crawlers, SEO and social bots, scripts and tools, likely browsers and unknown clients. It lists the top bots, the pages they request, error rates and browser-like visitors that never load images or scripts. Classification is by claimed user agent only, so it can be spoofed: verify important bots with the operator's published IP ranges. Your log is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

## FAQ
**Which log format does it read?** Apache and Nginx "combined" log format, where each line has the IP, time, request, status, size, referer and user agent. Custom formats may need converting.

**Why do my analytics show fewer visits than the log?** Analytics scripts usually run only in real browsers, so crawlers and scripts show up in server logs but not in analytics.

**Can bots fake their user agent?** Yes. Treat the classes as a guide. Verify important crawlers using the IP ranges published by Google, Microsoft and others.

**Is the Human vs Bot Traffic Report from Access Logs free?** Yes, with no sign-up or limits.
