## About
Model Context Protocol (MCP) configurations tell an AI agent which tool servers to start or connect to. A single mistake can stop a server loading, and pasted API keys can leak when a config file is shared or committed. Paste your JSON and the checker validates its structure (mcpServers, command, args, url, env), spots secrets stored in plain text, unpinned or risky commands, insecure addresses and over-broad file access. The text stays in your browser. It checks common layouts only, and it cannot test that a server actually runs.

## How to use

## FAQ
**What is an MCP server configuration?** A JSON file that tells an AI agent or desktop app which Model Context Protocol servers to start or connect to, usually under an "mcpServers" key with a command and arguments or a URL.

**I pasted a real token. What now?** The check runs in your browser and nothing is sent to ToolStack Hub, but if a token has been in a file you shared, committed or pasted anywhere, treat it as exposed: revoke it and create a new one.

**Is the MCP Server Configuration Checker free?** Yes, with no sign-up or limits.
