## About
Enter your monitor's weight, VESA pattern and size, then the arm's published weight range, supported VESA patterns and screen-size limit, and your desk's thickness and type. The checker flags every mismatch and warns about common problems such as arms that are too strong for a light monitor, glass or hollow desks and missing VESA holes. Always use the figures printed on the product page or in the manual.

## How to use
1. Enter your values in the fields above.
2. The result updates automatically as you type.
3. Copy or note the figures you need.

## FAQ
**What is VESA?** A standard pattern of four screw holes on the back of a monitor, measured in millimetres, such as 75 x 75 or 100 x 100. The arm's head must support the same pattern.

**Why is there a minimum weight?** Gas-spring arms are tuned for a weight range. A monitor that is too light makes the arm rise instead of staying where you put it.

**Is the Monitor Arm Compatibility Checker free?** Yes, with no sign-up or limits.
