How to use the Letter Honeycomb Word Game (Make Words from 7 Letters)

1. Look at the seven letters. The one in the centre must be in every word.
2. Make words of four or more letters by tapping the letters or typing. Letters can be used more than once. Press Enter to submit and Delete to remove a letter.
3. Four-letter words score 1 point and longer words score one point per letter. A pangram, which uses all seven letters, earns 7 bonus points.
4. Watch your rank rise from Beginner to Perfect as your score climbs. Use Hints for the number of words, Shuffle to rearrange the outer letters and Give up and reveal to see every word.

Example

Worked example (a fictional puzzle with the centre letter T and the letters A, C, E, I, N, R)

• Valid word: RETAIN has six letters and uses T, so it scores 6 points
• Pangram: A word that uses all seven letters such as CERTAIN earns its length plus 7 bonus points, so a seven-letter pangram scores 14
• Invalid word: RACE does not contain the centre letter T, so it is rejected
• Short word: ACT has only three letters, so it is too short

Limitations

• Puzzles are generated at random from a list of about 64,000 common-to-moderate English words, so a few puzzle words will be unfamiliar and some real words may be missing.
• Plurals and verb forms are included. There is no letter S in any puzzle, to avoid trivial plurals.
• Spelling follows the word list, which mixes British and American forms.
• The daily puzzle is chosen from the date on your device, so players in different time zones may see a different day’s puzzle for a few hours.
• This is an independent game and is not affiliated with any publisher or other game of a similar style.
