How to use the Word Grouping Puzzle (Sort 16 Words into 4 Groups)

1. Read the 16 words. Four groups of four share a link, such as types of cheese or words that can follow the same word.
2. Click four words you think belong together and press Submit. If you are right, the group is revealed with its name and a colour. If you are wrong you lose one of your four mistakes, and the game tells you if you were one word away.
3. Use Shuffle to rearrange the words and Deselect all to start a selection again. Solve all four groups to win. Tick Unlimited mistakes for a relaxed game.
4. To make your own puzzle, open Create your own puzzle, write four groups of four different words, and press Create link. Share the link and anyone can play it.

• Words: BRIE, EDAM, GOUDA, CHEDDAR, WALTZ, TANGO, SALSA, POLKA, MARS, VENUS, SATURN, MERCURY, PENNY, SHILLING, FARTHING, GUINEA
• Group 1: Cheeses: BRIE, EDAM, GOUDA, CHEDDAR
• Group 2: Dances: WALTZ, TANGO, SALSA, POLKA
• Group 3: Planets: MARS, VENUS, SATURN, MERCURY
• Group 4: Old British money: PENNY, SHILLING, FARTHING, GUINEA

Limitations

• The game has 12 built-in puzzles to start with, plus any you create or receive as a link. Random puzzles will repeat.
• Puzzles you create are stored only in the link you share. They are not saved on our server, and a very long link may not work in some apps.
• Groups are marked in colour order from straightforward to tricky, but difficulty is a matter of opinion.
• Words in a puzzle you create must all be different.
• This is an independent game and is not affiliated with any publisher or other game of a similar style.
